Well Seth had his 15 month well visit this past Friday. He is doing great and is right on schedule or as his Dr. put it, he is "by the book". His doctor did say he was ahead of schedule with his vocabulary and was functioning at an 18 month old's level. He said that the typical 15 month old says about 5 words, and Seth says about 20 and does some sign language. In fact, Seth decided to show off his skills to the doc and did the sign for more and also said a few words and gave him a high five. We are so proud of him! He has also gotten the sign for "all done", "milk" and "eat" down. It is all very exciting. He weighs 27lbs 12 oz and is in the 85th percentile for weight. The nurse measured him at 32 1/4 " which puts him in the 80th percentile when he has been in the 97th percentile since birth. We think she might have made a mistake because she did it so fast and it didn't look precise. The doctor even commented on it and said he didn't grow much in height and it could be that he may go thru a big 2" growth spurt soon. I think I am going to measure him myself to be sure. Here is a video of Seth signing more...he now does the sign perfectly and also says more. At the end of the video you can hear him say "more mama". So cute!
